Euchreは米国中西部、カナダ、イギリスで絶大な人気を誇る、テンポの速いトリックテイキングのパートナーゲームです。特徴は、切り札のジャック（ライトバウアー）が最強で、同じ色のスートのジャック（レフトバウアー）が2番目に強いことです。

🃏 Euchre (ユーカー)の準備とルール

24枚のデッキを使います：各スートの9、10、J、Q、K、A。5枚ずつ配ります。
残りの1枚をめくります——これが切り札スートの候補です。

オーダーアップ：各プレイヤー（ディーラーの左から）がめくられたスートを切り札として受け入れるかパスします。受け入れられたら、ディーラーがそのカードを取り、1枚捨てます。
全員がパスしたら、2巡目で別のスートを指定するか、再びパスします。
切り札の順位（高→低）：ライトバウアー（切り札のJ）＞レフトバウアー（同色のJ）＞A＞K＞Q＞10＞9。
レフトバウアーは元のスートには属さなくなります。
宣言したチームは3トリック以上を取る必要があります。より大きな報酬のために「ゴーイングアローン」（単独プレイ）も可能です。

The deck and the bowers

Euchre uses a stripped 24-card deck — only 9, 10, Jack, Queen, King and Ace in each suit. Four players sit in two fixed partnerships, opposite each other.
Everyone is dealt 5 cards in packets of 2 and 3, and the next card is turned face-up to propose a trump suit.
The two most important cards are the bowers. The Jack of the trump suit is the Right Bower — the highest card in the game. The Jack of the same colour is the Left Bower, second highest.
The Left Bower stops being its printed suit for the whole hand. If Spades are trump, the Jack of Clubs is a Spade — you cannot follow a Club lead with it.

Naming trump

First round: starting left of the dealer, each player may order up the turned card as trump or pass. If someone accepts, the dealer picks it up and discards a card face-down.
Second round: if all four pass, players may name any other suit as trump — but never the suit that was just turned down.
If all four pass again, the hand is dead and the deal moves on. Some tables play stick the dealer, forcing the dealer to name a suit rather than pass.
Judge your hand before calling: three trumps, or two trumps plus an off-suit Ace, is a reasonable call. Both bowers is very strong.

Playing the hand

The player left of the dealer leads the first trick. You must follow the led suit if you can; otherwise play anything, including trump.
The highest trump wins the trick, or the highest card of the led suit if no trump is played. The winner leads the next trick.
Trump ranks high to low: Right Bower, Left Bower, Ace, King, Queen, 10, 9. Non-trump suits rank normally, Ace high.
Count trump as it appears. With only five tricks per hand, knowing that both bowers have gone decides how hard you can push.

Scoring and going alone

The team that named trump must win at least 3 of the 5 tricks. Taking 3 or 4 scores 1 point; taking all 5 — a march — scores 2.
Fail to take 3 and you are euchred: the opposing team scores 2 points instead. That penalty is what makes reckless calls expensive.
Going alone: the caller may bench their partner and play the hand solo. A solo march scores 4 points, making it the fastest route to victory.
First team to 10 points wins the match.
