🃏 Briscola (ブリスコラ)の準備とルール

40枚のイタリア／スペインデッキを使います（8、9、10を抜く）。3枚ずつ配ります。
1枚を表向きにめくります——そのスートがBriscola（切り札スート）です。山札の下に差し込みます。
各トリックの後、山札がなくなるまでプレイヤーは1枚ずつ引きます。

ディーラーでない側が最初のトリックに任意のカードをリードします。
他のプレイヤーは1枚ずつ出します。スートに従う義務も切り札を出す義務もありません。
切り札（Briscolaスート）が出されれば、最も高い切り札がトリックを取ります。そうでなければ、リードされたスートの最も高いカードが勝ちます。
各スート内のカードの順位（高→低）：A(11)、3(10)、K(4)、Q(3)、J(2)、7、6、5、4、2。
すべてのトリックを終えたら、獲得したカードの点数を合計します。

Setting up the game

Briscola seats 2 to 4 players and uses a 40-card deck — the eights, nines and tens are removed from a standard pack.
Each player is dealt three cards, and one further card is turned face-up to set the briscola, the trump suit for the whole game.
That trump card is slid partly under the remaining stock and is the very last card taken as the stock runs down.
After every trick each player draws back up to three cards, so hands stay at three until the stock is exhausted.

Card values

The deck holds exactly 120 points, and the whole game is a race to capture more than half of them.
Aces are worth 11 and threes are worth 10, which makes those two ranks far more valuable than their trick-taking power suggests.
Kings are worth 4, Queens 3 and Jacks 2. Everything else is worth nothing at all.
That gap means a trick can be worth 21 points or nothing, and knowing which is which is most of the skill.

Playing a trick

There is no obligation to follow suit in Briscola — you may play any card at any time.
The highest trump in a trick wins it. If no trump is played, the strongest card of the suit that was led wins.
Because following suit is optional, discarding a worthless card on a trick you cannot win is a routine and important move.
The trick winner leads the next one, and both players draw a replacement card before it begins.

Winning

Count the points on the cards you captured once every trick has been played. More than 60 of the 120 wins.
Exactly 60 each is a draw, which happens more often than you might expect.
In the four-player partnership game, partners combine their captured points at the end.
Save your trumps for tricks that actually carry points — trumping a worthless trick wins the cards but gains nothing.
