Bluff (also known as Cheat, BS, or I Doubt It) is a deceptive shedding game. You must play cards face-down claiming a specific rank — but you can lie. Anyone can call you out, making every turn electric.

🃏 Bluff Setup & Rules

Deal all cards face-down equally. Players look only at their own hands.
The rank sequence cycles: 2, 3, 4…A, then back to 2.

▶ How to Play Bluff

On your turn, play 1–4 cards face-down and announce the rank (must be the current rank in sequence). You may lie.
Any player may immediately call "Bluff!" after a play.
If challenged: flip the cards. If any card doesn't match the claim, the player who played takes the entire pile. If all match, the challenger takes it.
If no one challenges, the cards stay in the pile and play passes clockwise.
First to empty their hand wins.

Setting up your table

Bluff seats 2 to 6 — one human plus up to five AI opponents — though it comes alive with four or more, where there is enough doubt to hide a lie in.
Start the game and the whole deck is dealt out evenly. Some players may hold one card more than others; that's normal.
Your hand is fanned at the bottom of the screen. Only you can see it.

Making a claim

The rank to be played cycles in order: 2, 3, 4 … King, Ace, then back to 2. The app shows which rank is due this turn.
On your turn, select 1–4 cards and play them face-down while claiming they are the current rank ("two Queens").
You do NOT have to tell the truth — playing off-rank cards while claiming the rank is the heart of the game.
You can't pass in the standard rules: if it's your turn, you must play at least one card, so sometimes you're forced to lie.

Calling a bluff

Immediately after any play, every other player gets a moment to challenge — tap "Bluff!" if you don't believe the claim.
On a challenge, the played cards are flipped for everyone to see.
If even one card doesn't match the claim, the liar picks up the entire centre pile. If all cards match, the challenger takes the pile instead.
If nobody challenges, the cards stay face-down on the pile and the next rank comes due.

Reading the table

Tap any player's avatar to open their info card — card count and play history help you judge whether they could really hold what they claim.
Track claims: if three Kings have already been claimed and someone claims two more, at least one is a lie.
The first player to shed every card — and survive a final challenge — wins.
